ONE PIXEL LESS

About ONE PIXEL LESS

ONE PIXEL LESS is a massively multiplayer ambient artwork built from billions of logical positions. Each anonymous visitor can receive one server-selected pixel, find it through exploration, and decide whether that one position should remain or disappear forever.

One life. One pixel. One permanent void.

Your pixel is not an avatar, collectible, or score. It is one position in a world-scale picture. You may keep it existing, or remove it once. There is no undo, respawn, or second claim after disappearance.

The world remembers the absence

A single void is almost invisible. Thousands become texture. Millions can reshape the composition. Every disappearance remains at the same coordinate and becomes part of the shared artwork.

Anonymous by design

There are no accounts, usernames, profiles, or public identities. A first-party anonymous token enforces the one-life lifecycle; while it remains valid, a returning browser can find its own absence. Nearby presence is temporary and aggregate only.
